The first thing I did was pick a title. From there I had to decide what I wanted to be represented. I decided I wanted it to be based on a double life. I wanted to use black, white, and red but then when I was messing around with saturations, overlays, transparencies and scales the white turned into a teal-ish color. I liked how the read and teal worked together so I decided to keep it that way. I feel that the piece works as a whole very well.

Roots of Life

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My life has many aspects in it. Four areas of my life that I choose to grow stronger and strive to make better are; myself, my family, my relationship, and my learning. These Four aspects are very important to me and are areas which I intend to improve from now on and throughout the rest of my life.
The picture above represents these four aspects. The trees unite as one to show how they intertwine with one another to make me as a whole. Trees represent life. You start as a seed, as you mature you plant your roots and as you grow in life you make new branches. Some may become huge and sprout smaller ones because they have more nurturing and flourish more. Others may be smaller representing a pathway that ended and started a new beginning.
Orange represents my life. These are personal issues, problems, growths, and personality traits that I have or have came across throughout life. Blue represents the relationship I have with family members. This shows the hard times, the fights, and the time which I loved from the day I was born. Purple represents the beginning of the start of my love, a potential family some day, and the bonding friendship and partner. Red represents the learning that occurred the day I was born until now. Whether or not that was something I taught myself, something someone taught me, or my schooling.
There are many other aspects in life that I make up but these are some important key growths that make up me.
